I am a big believer in functional-based exercise strategies and after more than 25 years in the industry both as a client and a trainer, I have created a studio where I can share my wealth of knowledge with my team of trainers and clients alike. I continue to train daily and love olympic-style lifting, rope climbs, rock climbing and kettle bell training all with a high intensity focus.
MY "GOOD HEALTH - GOOD LIFE" PHILOSOPHY

Food should be fresh, organic where viable, and definitely unprocessed - don't buy anything in a box and don't eat JUNK!

If you leave food out on the bench and it doesn't spoil, then it has something in it you don't want to eat...it's loaded with "unreal" elements that make it last, so throw it away!

You need lots of essential fats, bucket loads of vegetables especially greens, clean organic protein and a good fish oil supplement

Drink plenty of water

Never ever, ever drink soft drinks or other processed bottled bevies. No ifs or butts

Get plenty of good quality sleep - before midnight!

Take responsibility for your own health and the dietary and exercice choices you make - life is not a blame game!

Ask questions and investigate - just because the answer comes from someone with a piece of paper (qualification) that does not mean it's correct. You need to test and measure to see the results for yourself and then using this information, make a call!

Take time for fun - don't take life too seriously, if shit happens, it's just part of the journey - it's not the DESTINATION!!

Do the right thing - what goes around comes around..and comes AROUND!!

Daily activity, whether it's walking the dog, riding your bike or going to the gym, is an absolute must. You need to get off your arse and move, then keep moving...and MOVING!!

Be curious, be inquisitive, because no-one ever stops learning!

Be open to other people's views and ideas, because funnily enough.....you just might learn something!
